How to give a great first impression in 7 seconds? This is the topic I demonstrated in a styling event in Regent Hotel Taipei last week.

We all know well-dressed people in life. They look elevated, know how to dress the right clothes that flatter their body shape. They dress colours that show the best of themselves, and their clothes & makeup serve as a perfect extension to their style personality. They may not be fashionable yet always leave a great impression quickly.

We all have a suitable colour palette based on our feature and expected self-image. This lady in the picture is a professional trainer. Through my demonstration, she knows better how to balance between her personal preference and professional needs in daily wear, and steps out of her comfort zone to try new colours.

The first impression forms fast, lasts long and 60% comes from our appearance. Thus, understanding your style and dressing accordingly will make you look and feel great. Once you feel and look great, being more confident, influential and successful is just a natural consequence.
